Out Of Place

Post  Aramina on Sun May 11, 2014 5:41 pm

Wandering the halls was something she did often now, disjointed and out of focus. Not because of herself, no, for Mozafirium had mended the imbalance within her own mind and fit pieces that had been mislaid back to where they should have been to begin with. No, this was a different type of quandry and one she could not solve for herself, for there were pieces of this puzzle missing.

Namely, the twins and her friend, the Healer Morena. It was hard for Aramina to know what to do with herself and walking the long corridors of the Keep was where she usually ended when the tasks she set herself had been completed, with a thoughtful and introspective frown on her face. Such an expression was entirely unlike the Sarella wenda in all the time she had been in the Keep and with her Hamak.

His presence and the sense of urgency preceded him. Swift were his steps as he strode the corridors, his intentions to find his Sarella Wenda. Much had occurred in the brief time since their breaking fast this morn. Mina, we must away. The battle at the gate rages. Those who would close it, those ally to the Tsar, need assistance. Come.

Though the call-to-arms rare in recent years, there were times during her service to him she had witnessed such events. However, always had Havoc sought to inspect his army in languid fashion. They would wait as long as they need wait. So, this instant response and haste with which he sought to summon his wenda was unusual indeed.

He had not the time to speak reasons or history of the world at length. Mayhap she gleaned the Lingspelien were long time allies to the dragons. Mayhap she recalled the ritual not a week hence performed in front of Atrumignem Arcis - the Rite of the Phoenix - to bring forth the tsar of the Sunlit Scalla from the lands were the dead dwell. A palm tree still clung perilously close the edge of the ocean cliffs as testament to this rite.

His thoughts and the images within his mind spoke more of his intentions than his words. Scenery of a great battle under the turquoise-gareen sky of the Planet of Legends suggested the place. Flickered-swift fragments of an island surrounded by a dry bay... the shattered dome of rainbow hued glass atop cresting it... and the monstrous form of a draconic dragon above them both. This was what the others needed assistance with - this once king of the Sunlit Scalla.

Out of Place

His Sarella Wenda Felt him before she saw him, and her head came up quickly at the urgent need coming from her Havoc that gave her the feeling that she had to run. Where? Who knew, but she suddenly had to suppress the desire to move. It was a rare thing when her Hamak felt he had to act with speed and Mina immediately wondered what was wrong. There was no anger in what she was picking up, so she knew it was not one of his slaves or even herself who had done something.

Images tagged along with the words he directed right into her mind. Mina, we must away. The battle at the gate rages. Those who would close it, those ally to the Tsar, need assistance. Come. The visual bits and pieces that came with it were confusing, but Mina made out that the new friends she'd made, those who were with Tsar'Lena and who had gone on a mission to, in essence, save the world, needed help. Their help.

The Sarella Wenda had asked Oren about why there were dragons in the murals and she'd read some of the books, so while she was not aware of the more intimate relationship the Lingspelien had with the race of Dragons,s he knew that the creatures were very important to her Hamak's species. And that Tsar'Lena was also a dragon, somehow. Mina was still confused on that whole part. And Mina remembered the Rite of the Phoenix that they had performed not long ago to bring 'Lena back from the other side. Her beloved had gone through such a Rite several times now. It was incredible. And terrifying.

Then there was the other images. Of battle. Of blood. Of fighting a dragon who should have died in the Shroud, as far as Mina was concerned. So, they needed to come to Tsar'Lena's aid? Mina was game, and she put the desire to move to good use, spinning on the ball of one foot and pushing herself into a run to meet her beloved Havoc on his way to find her.

As she ran, the Wenda shifted clothes which was something she'd been practicing so she would not have to return to her room every time she needed to change, now that it was no longer at the entry to Havoc's wing. Her sleeveless belly-baring silk shirt remained the same, but she 'ported her skirt to her room, and 'ported the silk pants she had made for horse-back riding to her. While switching out a skirt was easy, Mina had a few awkward steps as she tried to jam one leg, then the other into the loose fitting garment while trying to run at the same time, but she managed to do it without pitching herself headlong to the floor!.

Skidding around the corner, bare feet slapping the stone floor, Mina almost collided with Havoc. " I'm ready, ma Hamak!"

When she arrived, near colliding with him, he put his hand on her shoulder to steady her. "Come we must away." He took her by the waist and then pulled her closer, intent on taking her with him to wherever this images and his emotions bade him go. Yet, at the very end, he hesitated. His head tilted to one side, in the manner of one listening. Something urged him to change his mind.

Though he wished to bring his Sarella with him, there was something the urged him to leave her here. A gentle nudging by the Keep Herself. This surprised him, for the Keep rarely contacted him directly. Atrumignem Arcis personally wanted Aramina for - something - that she did not reveal to her Master. He had no way of knowing that his first wife struggled back into Existence at this very moment.

His attention went then to Aramina, so hopefully and eager to please him. His voice was soft as he spoke to her, so as not to frighten her. "Hm... plans have changed. You must stay here. There is... something that will, or does need your attention. I can explain more." He leaned down and kissed her on the forehead, his hand still on her shoulder so he could pull her toward him and hold her momentarily in an embrace. Then, he pulled back and looked into her eyes in a way that was rare for him.

She caught the distinct taste of fear... and concern... in his gaze and his thoughts. Then, it was gone, clamped down behind massive shields. He moved away from her, and within a few moments, was gone in a swirl of flames....

(This due to the fact that she was there during the time that Crysheana was 'reborn'.)
